Boreal NFC is designed to read, edit, write, and test NFC tag payloads without requiring an account for the core app workflow.

Information handled by the app
The iOS app may store saved payloads, write history, notes, generated QR fallback data, and compatibility reports locally on the device so the user can reuse and test NFC tags.
Boreal NFC is not designed to copy payment cards, transit cards, access cards, hotel keys, secure identity cards, or protected credentials.
Cloud account and sync
The current app is local-first and does not require a Boreal NFC account. Saved payloads, write history, tag reports, and batch progress remain on the device. Any future cloud feature would require an updated product and privacy disclosure before launch.
Optional Pro purchase
Boreal NFC Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Boreal NFC uses the purchase entitlement to unlock Pro features; it does not operate its own payment account system.

Website data
This companion website provides product, FAQ, and support information. It may receive ordinary request metadata needed to serve pages, protect the service, and diagnose operational issues.
Optional website analytics
When enabled, Microsoft Clarity loads only after you allow analytics. It provides session replay and heatmaps using cookies and similar technologies. Advertising consent remains denied. Analytics settings lets you withdraw consent; the page reloads to stop the recorder. Your choice is stored for up to 180 days. Factory Station is excluded from recording.
Factory Station browser storage
Factory Station saves your CSV draft, job name and station preferences in this browser. Pairing keys are stored in IndexedDB. These remain until you clear them or clear site data. Use Clear browser draft for CSV data, and Forget phone to remove a phone binding. Tag operations run on the paired iPhone; website storage is separate from the app's device storage.
